Consider this: there are probably at least a dozen other women on the planet who are facing circumstances like yours but who may not yet have your perspective. They can’t yet see the opportunity in front of them. Or they can but their fear is holding them back. What if you knew there was the smallest possibility that your story could be the catalyst; the mirror that allows another woman to see herself in a new light, understand that she’s not alone, and take action to claim her power? What if, by sharing your story, you enable just one woman to experience herself and her life in a whole new way? Would it be worth it to share it? Yes, it would.
It’s one thing for celebrities and Fortune 100 executives to use their star power and clout to change the world. This project is not about them. Hear Us Roar! is a collection of stories from everyday women leading extraordinary lives—not because their actions are headline-worthy, but because they have embraced their own ability to make a difference for themselves and others.
