We’re Writing the Roar Book this Weekend!

I’m writing this post from the kitchen table of a beautiful home in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Vickie’s on my left, and my good friend Ashley’s on my right. We’re signed up for Donna Kozik’s Write a Book in a Weekend program, which officially launches in about 25 minutes. We each have book projects that have lingered for too long (Roar included!), so we decided to get outta dodge (no chores to be done here, no daily life distractions) and get ourselves into a structured program to support our efforts.

Here’s the working title: Hear Us Roar! Stories of Everyday Women Leading Extraordinary  Lives.

Special gratitude goes to Mark H. who offered his family’s lovely mountain retreat to us free of charge.
