The Authors
The 28 contributors to this anthology are women who generously responded to an invitation to write about a time in their lives that they realized they were powerful — whether a single defining moment or a process over time.
These women aren’t celebrities by the Hollywood definition of the term; they are real women expressing themselves in a very real way.
Indeed, the purpose of the Hear Us Roar! project is to provide an opportunity for “ordinary” women to shine so that other “ordinary” women would catch a glimpse of their own reflection.
