Who We Are

THE ROAR TEAM

Hear Us Roar! is a project created by a small and mighty group of entrepreneurial women living throughout the U.S. We borrow our inspiration from Margaret Mead, the famous anthropologist who said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

Special thanks to others who have offered their talents and contributions, most with little or no compensation:

  • All the Roar authors, for their enthusiasm, passion, generosity and commitment to making a difference;
  • Aletha McManama of DC Virtual Office Solutions, for designing and maintaining the first Hear Us Roar! web site;
  • Anne Pellicciotto of SeeChange Consulting, for her editing and outreach advice;
  • Ashley Dobbs of Keep the Promise, whose partnership kept me marching forward;
  • Danielle Taylor of Taylor Made, for her PR and social networking expertise;
