Tell your Story, Change your Life
Alison hemmed and hawed for weeks about whether to submit a Roar story and, if so, which one to write. Find out how writing her story led to a huge “aha” about her purpose in life. Wow!
“I never realized what a difference writing my Hear Us Roar! submission would make in my life – and I do mean my life. The process of writing about my ‘roaring moment,’ having a natural childbirth in the delivery of my daughter into the world, fostered great clarity for me regarding the difference I want to make.
“As a new mom of a 14 month old I have been searching again for my identity since her birth, trying to understand how to reconcile my passion and commitment to being a mom with my desire to have an impact that reaches beyond my family. As I crafted the words to share my story with Hear Us Roar!, I became clearer about what I want that impact to be.
“I have enrolled in a training program to become a child birth educator and am well on my way toward making a difference for and empowering other women as they embark on the journey toward becoming mothers. The excitement, joy and levity I feel about this new identity – one that will no doubt continue the ‘roaring!’ – is truly unprecedented.”
Did we mention wow?!
